Spaghetti Bowl Xpress (SBX) Traffic Control Update Week of November 14
Traffic control and detour maps are available here. Construction operations are weather dependent and subject to change.
To provide a smoother interstate surface, next week crews will continue repairs to surface cracking and potholes on I-580 between Mill Street and Meadowood Mall Way under a separate NDOT contract. Drivers should anticipate intermittent overnight lane and ramp closures on northbound I-580 between Meadowood Mall Way and Mill Street next week. In addition to continuing lane and ramp closures near the Spaghetti Bowl, drivers will also see periodic overnight lane and ramp closures on north and southbound I-580 between Mill Street and Meadowood Mall Way through December for these important roadway repairs.
Reno Spaghetti Bowl Ramp Closures
Ramps will be CLOSED intermittently overnight from 8pm to 6am from
Sunday, November 14 to Friday, November 19. Please use marked detour routes.
- Eastbound I-80 to northbound US-395.
- Eastbound I-80 to southbound I-580.
- Westbound I-80 to southbound I-580.
Southbound I-580 Second Street/Mill Street Off Ramps
Access to Second Street and/or Mill Street will be intermittently closed from the southbound I-580 Second Street/Mill Street off ramp overnight from 8pm to 6am from Sunday, November 14 to Friday, November 19. Access to one route—either Second Street or Mill Street—will be available.
Mill Street Lane Closures
Daytime lane reductions are planned on Mill Street under I-580 the week of November 14 through December 24. Also, the southbound I-580 Mill Street off ramp left-turn lanes to eastbound Mill Street will be reduced to one left-turn lane.
Kietzke Lane Closures
Kietzke Lane from Kuenzli Street to Galletti Way will be closed overnight from 8pm to 6am in both directions from Sunday, November 14 to Friday, November 19.
