Spaghetti Bowl Xpress (SBX) Traffic Control Update | Week of April 24, 2022

COMING SOON: “Sneak Peek”
Motorists will be shifted west to the new southbound I-580 concrete lanes
in May, offering a Sneak Peek of the final freeway configuration. Lane reductions
will still remain until the middle lanes are completed through the end of the year.
To prepare for the shift, crews will need to re-stripe lanes, requiring multiple ramp
and lane closures from the Spaghetti Bowl to Villanova Drive.
More details will be provided in advance of any traffic control.
Reno Spaghetti Bowl Ramp Closures
Ramps will be CLOSED intermittently overnight from 8pm to 6am
Sunday, April 24 to Friday, April 29. Please use marked detour routes.
- Eastbound I-80 to northbound US 395.
- Eastbound I-80 to southbound I-580.
- Westbound I-80 to southbound I-580.
Southbound I-580 Second Street/Mill Street Off Ramps
Access to Second Street and/or Mill Street will be CLOSED intermittently overnight
from 8pm to 6am from Sunday, April 24 to Friday, April 29.
Access to one route—either Second Street or Mill Street—will be available.
Kietzke Lane Closures
Kietzke Lane from Kuenzli Street to Galletti Way will be CLOSED overnight
from 8pm to 6am in both directions from Sunday, April 24 to Friday, April 29.
